Many women feel stuck in their comfort zone - personally or professionally - because they associate risk-taking with fear, failure, or the unknown. This hesitation can stem from a lack of confidence, fear of embarrassment, or simply not having a clear roadmap or support system to take the next step. The result is often a sense of stagnation, missed opportunities, or unfulfilled potential.

This workshop helps women reframe risk as a necessary ingredient for growth, offering tools to assess and navigate their personal “stretch zone” safely. It creates a supportive environment to explore fear, build confidence, and take bold but manageable steps forward.

In this one day workshop you will:

  • Step outside your comfort zone and discover just how capable you really are.

  • Engage in powerful, guided challenge course activities in a way that meets your definition of risk.

  • Reflect through meditation and journaling to deepen your self-awareness and growth.

  • Build confidence that lasts - and bring that boldness back to your work, relationships, and personal goals.

  • Experience the strength of supportive community - connect with other women who are ready to lift each other up.

  • Walk away with practical tools for navigating fear, uncertainty, and change with clarity and courage.

  • No experience required - just a willingness to try. Every activity is designed with choice, support, and encouragement in mind.

Inspired Risk-Taking and Confidence Building takes place at The Browne Center for Innovative Learning, using their facilities and Challenge Course. The Challenge Course is maintained by qualified staff, and inspected and serviced annually by Project Adventure, Inc. Challenge Course activities will be facilitated by Angel Brunelle, who is a Level II Certified Challenge Course practitioner, and has been leading challenge course programs for more than 30 years.


Registration fee includes all programming, coffee, snacks and lunch.

Register by August 11, 2025 to secure your spot. Due to the nature of the workshop, if we do not have at least 6 confirmed registrations by this date, the workshop may be cancelled.

Cancellation and refund policy:

The Workshop presenters reserve the right to cancel the workshop if there are fewer than 6 registered participants. If this happens, you will be notified no less than 2 weeks prior to the workshop start date, and all workshop fees will be refunded.

Registered participants who have paid in full, and cancel their registration at least 4 weeks before the workshop start date will receive a full refund.

Registered participants who have paid in full, and cancel their registration at 2 weeks before the workshop start date will receive a 50% refund, or can transfer their registration to another workshop date of equal value.

Registered participants who have paid in full, and cancel their registration at less than 2 weeks before the workshop start date will not receive a refund.
